Let’s meet in person
Philanthropy reaches across nonprofit sectors and academic disciplines, so we try to get in front of diverse audiences. The conference circuit has been remote for over a year, but we look forward to in-person events when it’s safe for everyone. Below are upcoming and recent conference presentations. Links to registration are included in upcoming posts, and we posted our presentations for the rest.
Internet Librarian: Funding & Volunteerism for Library Missions
Fundraising and volunteer programs help public libraries build social capital with their community and strategic stakeholders. This, in turn, helps libraries meet their community well-being missions. Dilworth has experience in both public and academic libraries and now, as a consultant to nonprofits, demonstrates the value of embracing philanthropy in supporting library goals and offers ideas and insights on how to integrate it at a level that aligns with funding needs and staff capacity. Sweeney shares highlights of his organization’s wins in helping libraries get support from their communities.
