The Lessons We Cover

The General Course teaches the fundamentals and application of the Social Capital Fundraising model. The alternate courses apply the model to specific philanthropic missions. The Social Capital Fundraising Model (SCFM)

By starting with the concept of social capital, this model provides a framework for fundraising practice that builds authentic connections with donors to facilitate giving that makes a positive impact for the public good.

This video lesson teaches the fundamentals of the model and how to apply it to fundraising practice. This general lesson is for fundraisers in all nonprofit sectors of all sizes.

The Social Capital Fundraising Model Applied to:

SCFM for Academic Libraries

Just like the General Course, this course teaches the fundamentals of the model and how to apply it to fundraising practice. The difference with this course is that instruction and application is specifically designed for fundraisers supporting academic libraries.

SCFM for Science

Just like the General Course, this course teaches the fundamentals of the model and how to apply it to fundraising practice. The difference with this course is that instruction and application is specifically designed for fundraisers supporting missions related to science. This can include colleges and departments of science, conservation organizations, research institutes and cultural organizations with science-focused missions.
